On successful completion, you'll receive a Training Completion Certificate, enabling progression to ACS assessments and, subject to meeting the relevant requirements, Gas Safe registration.

Description

The LCL Awards Managed Learning Programme (MLP) is a structured training programme designed for individuals entering the gas industry, as well as those who have some prior experience or knowledge of the Building Engineering Services sector.

The programme combines classroom-based learning, practical workshop training and supervised on-site gas work experience. This approach allows learners to develop their knowledge and practical skills before applying them in real workplace environments.

The programme covers essential areas including gas safety legislation, appliance installation and servicing, fault diagnosis, pipework, combustion, ventilation and emergency procedures.

Learners will attend Kelly Energy Training for two days each week as part of the centre-based element of the programme. In addition, all learners must gain suitable on-the-job gas work experience under the supervision of a registered gas installer acting as their workplace mentor.

Successful completion of the programme leads to a Training Completion Certificate, enabling learners to progress towards ACS assessments and the opportunity to register with the Gas Safe Register, subject to meeting the relevant registration requirements.
