EV Charger Installation - Level 3 - 603/7131/6 (LCL)

Expand your electrical skills with the Level 3 EV Charger Installation qualification, designed for electricians looking to work with electric vehicle charging systems. This course develops your understanding of EV charging regulations, installation requirements, testing and commissioning procedures across domestic, commercial and industrial environments. Combining technical knowledge with practical assessment, you'll gain the skills needed to safely install and commission EV charging equipment.

Description

The LCL Awards Level 3 Award in the Installation and Commissioning of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Equipment is designed for appropriately qualified electrical professionals who want to develop specialist competence in EV charging installations.

Throughout the course, you'll develop your understanding of EV charging equipment, relevant electrical requirements, installation design considerations, protective measures, testing and commissioning.

You'll also learn how to assess installation requirements, select appropriate equipment and complete the checks needed before an EV charging installation is placed into service.
