Description
The City & Guilds 2391-50 Level 3 Initial Verification qualification is designed for electrical professionals who want to develop their competence in the inspection, testing and commissioning of new electrical installations.
Throughout the course, you'll develop your understanding of safe isolation, inspection procedures, electrical testing methods and the documentation required as part of the Initial Verification process.
You'll also gain practical experience using electrical test instruments and completing the checks and certification associated with new electrical work before it is placed into service.
Focused on new electrical work: Initial Verification covers the inspection, testing and certification of new installations, alterations and additions rather than Periodic Inspection of existing installations.
5. Entry Requirements
This qualification is designed for learners who already have an understanding of electrical systems and want to develop their Initial Verification skills.
Learners must hold a current BS 7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations qualification.
